Police are working to solve the killing of a man found dead at his historic downtown Wilson home Friday night.
Officers found 41-year-old Kenan Lamont Newton
dead after arriving at his 1011 Branch St. home just after 9:49 p.m.,
Capt. Kendra Howell of the Wilson Police Department said.
Newton owned and operated Exclusive Fashions, a
clothing store in Wilson’s downtown business district, according to
online records.
